We collect information necessary to provide high-quality vocal instruction and manage studio operations, including:

  • Parent/Guardian & Student Names
  • Contact Information: Email addresses and phone numbers for scheduling and billing.
  • Student Details: Age/Date of Birth (to ensure age-appropriate instruction) and vocal history.
  • Billing Information: Processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We do not store full credit card numbers on our local devices.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly for studio-related purposes:

  • Scheduling lessons, rehearsals, and recitals.
  • Sending invoices and processing payments.
  • Providing updates on studio events or emergency cancellations.
  • Promotional Use: We will only use a student’s likeness (photo/video) if a parent or guardian has provided explicit, written opt-in consent via our Photo Release Form.

3. Data Security and Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Access to student data is limited to studio staff who require it for administrative purposes. We use industry-standard software to store data securely.

4. Media & Social Media (The “Opt-In” Standard)

We respect the privacy of our minors. Our policy is:

  • No Consent, No Post: If an Opt-In form is not signed, your child will not appear in any promotional materials.
  • Anonymity: We do not publish students’ last names alongside their photos on public platforms.
  • Right to Withdraw: You may revoke your media consent at any time by notifying us in writing. We will remove the relevant content from our digital platforms within [e.g., 72 hours].

5. Access to Your Information

Parents have the right to review the personal information we have on file for their family and may request corrections or deletion of non-essential data at any time.
